The moment has come—four full days of fishing begin today, focused on the fierce and acrobatic Peacock Bass. After an early breakfast at the Orinoco River Lodge, we’ll embark on a 1-hour river journey to reach the remote lagoons where your adventure begins. This is a truly wild and exclusive fishing experience, where you’ll cast into crystal-clear waters, surrounded by dense rainforest and untouched nature—just you, the fish, and the jungle.
From Day 3 to Day 6, you’ll spend three nights at our Lagoons Base Camp, a safari-style camp immersed in the jungle. Here, you’ll feel the spirit of a true wilderness expedition, with all the comfort you need. Wake up at dawn and fish right in front of the camp, skipping long transfers and maximizing your time on the water.
At the end of Day 6, we’ll return to the Orinoco River Lodge, where you’ll unwind in luxurious comfort in the heart of the jungle. Our Peacock Bar will be waiting for you—the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and share stories from the incredible adventure you just lived.

Are you prepared? Two intense days of fishing for the legendary Payara await you. After an early breakfast at the Orinoco River Lodge, we’ll take a 35-minute boat ride to reach the powerful rapids of the Orinoco River, the natural habitat of this remarkable predator.
Known as the “vampire fish”, the Payara is a lightning-fast hunter that charges upstream against roaring currents. Here, you’ll cast into turbulent waters in search of specimens that can reach up to 95 cm in length, armed with massive fang-like teeth and explosive strikes—an unforgettable challenge for any angler.
At midday, enjoy a brief riverside lunch among the ancient boulders of the rapids, before continuing the action. Each evening, return to the Orinoco River Lodge, where you’ll spend your final two nights surrounded by luxury and jungle serenity.

Upon arrival, our team will accompany you to the airport for your 1-hour flight back to Bogotá.
